With just 4 weeks of the season left (3 games for East Keswick) there’s strong competition for the last two promotion places in Division 6 with ourselves, Church Fenton, Whixley and also Kippax still in with a chance of promotion. It’s worth remembering that last years rule that says you can’t play players in the last 3 games of the season who have played more 1st than 2nd team games has been extended this year to cover junior players. I understand Whixley may have had a couple of 1st team players playing against Church Fenton on Saturday and they may well do so again this Saturday in the return match (Church Fenton were apparently under strength last weekend due to their 1st team taking players.)
