Week 17 - Results

Week 17 saw the 1st team go down to Kippax Welfare with the assistance of what was said to be poor umpiring decisions. Kippax Welfare made 151 all out as East Keswick were bowled out for 96.

The second team won again, making it 11 on field wins out from the last 12 games played. Keswick won the toss and batted first, but were one wicket down very early on as Ashley Richardson made his first ever golden duck. Farid Hussain made a quick 30 before being caught out. Only a long stay at the crease from Andrew Hirst (37) and some important runs from Imran Hussain (15) and Andy Barber (13*) took Keswick to a well below par 130 all out.

Kippax Welfare 'A' were quickly two wickets down thanks to some good bowling from Andy Barber (7-0-23-2). A deadly spell of bowling from Faird Hussain (6.2-2-6-4) and Ashley Richardson (7-3-13-3) finished the game off as the opposition were bowled out for just 69, ensuring all 6 points.
