2012 Fixture List

The Wetherby Cricket League has announced the fixtures for the 2012 season. The 1st XI find themselves away at Sherburn (good batting wicket!) whilst the 2nd XI entertain Sicklinghall at home.

East Keswick CC - Annual General Meeting

The East Keswick CC Annual General Meeting i this Wednesday (14th December) at 7pm. I'd encourage everyone who wants to play next season to attend especially as there may be a few issues to sort out that will require a vote. Anyone wanting a lift please contact myself or Kamran.

Indoor Cricket - Players Wanted

We're still looking for players to play the Indoor League at Headingley CC over the weekend. Last Man Stand - Indoor Style

We've been asked to play in the LMS Indoor Cricket. This will take place on Saturday's at some time between 1pm and 4pm at Headingley Indoor Nets. The price will be £6 per person. If you haven't already told John Winterburn can you text him and let him know if you wish to play.

Lastly and most importantly the club would like to thank the hard work of Harry Moore, Neville Meredith and Gareth Meredith for spending countless hours up at the ground preparing wickets and the outfield. Without their thankless work there would be no cricket.

End of Season updates

Somewhat belatedly the tables and fixture lists have been updated to reflect the end of season standings.

Presentation Evening

The club presentation evening has been booked for Friday the 7th October at the Sheesh Mahal on Kirkstall Road, Leeds. The cost will be £12 per person for a 3 course meal, with a choice of 4 main courses. You can still sign up for the meal here.

End of Season Dinner & Presentation

Traditionally we have a meal and presentation with trophies etc, to celebrate the best bowlers and batters during the season. We're looking at having this years dinner in Leeds at an Indian restaurant.

In order to get an idea of numbers could you fill in the form here. Confirmation of will be taken later so don't take this as you booking a place, it's just so we can let the restaurant know how many might show up.
